Nakanoshima, Osaka and its surroundings are cities developed by people's activities since the early modern era. A special tour was held to tour the trajectory of Osaka's academic and scientific history from the Edo period to the present day by boat. We talked about economic activities at Dojima Rice Market and Kurayashiki in the early modern era, as well as scientists from the same period, such as Tekijyuku, and enjoyed talks and landscapes from the perspective of science, such as copper refining technology that was accompanied by economic activities such as finance.
