On October 29, 2023, a talk session between Judo artist Tadahiro Nomura and athlete Ryuichiro Sakai was held at Children's Book Forest Nakanoshima, hosted by Nobuharu Asahara and Ai Eri Ikeda.
This time it was a sporting event, so many students belonging to the athletic club and everyone who loved exercise participated.
Mr. Nomura and Mr. Sakai talked about their childhood and their encounters with judo and land.
Among them, Mr. Nomura told me that he had a complex and had continued to practice judo while cherishing his feelings of "suki", and Mr. Sakai was working hard on club activities. Junior and senior high school students listened seriously as if they were overlapping with their current life.
At the question corner, many questions were raised, such as how to manage meals for physical building and how to keep motivation, and they received advice from them.
In addition, Mr. Nomura, Mr. Sakai, and Mr. Asahara, the moderator, introduced one recommended book one by one. Everyone who is active in the sports field seemed to have learned a lot from books.
Finally, Mr. Nomura showed me three Olympic gold medals, and it was time for everyone's dreams to expand greatly in the brilliance that I saw for the first time.
