Under the fine weather in the autumn sky in October, a full-fledged athletics event for children using tartan trucks used in actual competitions was held at Nakanoshima Park for the first time.

This event was held with the desire to expand the hopes and possibilities of children who will lead the future through sports, food, and art.
Nobuharu Asahara and Ai Eri Ikeda started at noon with greetings from organizers Manabu Uramoto and Mayor Masanori Maeda. 130 students from the first grade to the sixth grade of elementary school were divided into men and women in each grade, and the 50m run challenge was held with great support from families and others. In each race, each person is called a bib and the name is determined and pose. Sprinted on the lane that introduced a time measurement system just like an athletics stadium, and dive at Yogibo, which is installed at the goal point. Between the races, we were excited by a demonstration of the hurdle run by students of the Osaka Athletics Competition.
Finally, Ryuichiro Sakai, who won the 2023 Japan Championship 100m run, appeared as a SP guest. Experience the training that Sakai performs every day together, and conduct a dream race with two men and women's best time. Although I put a handicap firmly, the scene of Sakai's rapid acceleration from the start of the razor, and cheers and applause similar to the sigh from the audience were occurring.
After the program, the children who participated with Sakai and Asahara took a commemorative photo against the backdrop of central Osaka City Central Public Hall.
I think that the children who participated touched on the physical abilities of top athletes who knew the world, and it was a special experience full of smiles.
