On February 9th, a table talk was held against the backdrop of Osaka City Central Public Hall Nakanoshima.

As people's behavior changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic, cultural facilities in Nakanoshima and restaurants along the Tosabori River on the south side of it serve as a valuable space with a sense of speciality, even though it is an extension of everyday life.

However, despite the neighbours across the river in the eastern part of the Nakanoshima, the connection between Tosabori River is very deep, close and distant, and we are unable to communicate daily. What kind of people are coming to each other, what is being done, what features are there?…The current situation is that the information is not available.

In the talk, various ideas were presented to build organic relationships by considering the eastern part of Nakanoshima, such as planning to link each other with a unique infrastructure, such as regular events such as cooperation with boat transport and art fair linkage planning, and circular versions that show people's faces and faces.

The center of Osaka is a comfortable place for many generations to gather, from children to adults. The area of eastern Nakanoshima and Kitahama is a stylish space where many businessmen, foreigners, and creative classes gather. With the revitalization of the “Machigurumi” area in the Nakanoshima + Kitahama area, including the open space in front of Osaka City Central Public Hall, I felt that it would be a place for various people to enjoy as a new area that is not Kita or Minami in Osaka.
