On February 7, Osaka International Convention Center Corp. held a talk event with photographer Rika Noguchi, Shigeki Hattori, graf representative, and Hironobu Matsuo, Planning Division, Osaka International Convention Center, on the theme of "Dissemination and Design of Urban Images".
This time, due to the announcement of declaration of a state of emergency, only online distribution is available.
First of all, photographs taken by photographer Noguchi actually walked around the Nakanoshima were introduced, and the beauty was maintained by the daily work of cleaning staff from the early morning. We also discussed the possibility of a new perspective contributing to Blanding in Nakanoshima.
Next, Matsuo of Osaka International Convention Center explained the current situation of the Osaka International Convention Center, and with the renewal in April last year, power outlets and Wi-Fi can be used in the lobby space on the second and first floors, and it was introduced that it could be used for telework during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Next, Shigeki Hattori, a creative director working on Blanding business across the country, talked about Blanding in the city from the perspective of “monogatari”. In addition, Mr. Hattori's unique ideas about the new utilization of the Nakanoshima area were also very interesting.
Finally, Mr. Noguchi touched on the fact that information based on individual perspectives is transmitted and shared is the driving force for society.
In Osaka International Convention Center Corp., the functions of MICE facilities have been re-recognized, in which people interact with each other in places including the lobby space, and information is received and transmitted.
