"Nakanoshima Music Event Concept by Artists"

Naohiro Ukawa (currently “in” artist, presided over by DOMMUNE)


Naohiro Ukawa, who has been creating chemical reactions with contemporary artists from a omnidirectional perspective, including Japan's first live streaming studio and channel, DOMMUNE, developed a concept of a Nakanoshima music event based on research from Nakanoshima.

●Potential for future development
After research and brainstorming, Mr. Ukawa developed 18Nakanoshima project ideas while examining venues such as Nakanoshima Park, where more than two famous and talented musicians collaborated with each other. Based on this concept, we will consider the feasibility of several projects.


Naohiro Ukawa

Born in Kagawa Prefecture in 1968. He has been active in a wide range of fields, including graphic designers, filmmakers, music video directors, VJs, writers, contemporary artists, and university professors. In 2010, "DOMMUNE" was launched individually. His record number of viewers attracted attention both in Japan and overseas, and was selected as a work recommended by the Agency for Cultural Affairs, Government of Japan Media Arts Festival in 2011.
