With the opening of the museum in 2021, the Osaka New Museum (tentative name) attracts attention as a new cultural base in Nakanoshima, has a rich and valuable collection of modern and contemporary art from Osaka and the world. We welcomed Masato Hayashino, a curator of the museum, to introduce works based on "Nakanoshima" from the collection, and explore how Nakanoshima has been represented in modern art.
