In 2024, 300 years after Kaitokudo was founded in Osaka, the 21st century Kaitokudo aims to create a network of knowledge through dialogue, inheriting the spirit of Kaitokudo, which was once the base of the network of knowledge. The feature of Kaitokudo is that by flexibly incorporating the strengths of diverse academic disciplines, it delve into concrete issues of the age rather than abstract discussions. It was filled with the atmosphere of free and vigorous discussions across fields. In this open lecture, I would like to work with you to create a new perspective by exchanging values and methods in various fields.
