The commoditization of the Internet and smartphones has enabled everyone in society to approach knowledge directly. And the COVID-19 pandemic has forced society to shift its economy and education remotely. The last thing that remains is a live dialogue that explores and shares each other's values through words spoken by living human beings based on places where they gather. Here, we look back on the history of OSAKA UNIVERSITY and the connection between regions according to that era, and envision the co-creation of corporate studies in the post-COVID era. In planning the 54th OSAKA UNIVERSITY Open Lecture this year, I would like to talk about this outlook.
