Global Potential Similarities and characteristics with the world's most prominent city island and Nakashu
The land along the city center islands, Nakashu, and rivers as an indispensable infrastructure for the logistics economy that contributes to modernization has completed its role, and has developed as a creative city by accumulating art and academic bases of museums and theaters, parks, etc. There are precedents of cities in the world. Nakanoshima has the potential of global standards and is designated as an "emergency development area for specific urban regeneration (especially effective area for strengthening international competitiveness)".
Historical Potential Symbols of Modern and Contemporary Japanese History and Culture
After the development of the Jyoan Yodoya in Azuchi-Momoyama period since the Middle Ages, Nakanoshima opened a U.S.-kaisho, and during the Edo period, it was a place where people, goods and information gathered as a kitchen in the world lined with warehouses of each clan. Furthermore, during the Meiji and Taisho eras, it flourished as a symbol of the Great Osaka era, and in modern times, it is a region boasting a unique personality in Japan, with many cultural facilities concentrated along with administrative agencies, finance, news, and major corporate buildings. .
