Opened in 2000 as a complex MICE facility that can handle a wide range of events, including international conferences, seminars, symposiums, exhibitions, and concerts. The nickname "Grand Cube Osaka" is based on its large cube-shaped appearance and is designed by Kisho Kurokawa.

It is a calm area with a waterside in the city center, with museums and cultural facilities nearby. A 10-minute drive from Umeda Station, the largest terminal in Osaka, and a free shuttle bus runs from JR Osaka Station.

Urban MICE facilities in Osaka
This facility has been used at many international conferences and large-scale events, and has been well received from various fields. The G8 Finance Ministers' Meeting in June 2008 and the G7 Trade Ministers' Meeting in October 2023 have been held to attract attention from the world and Japan.
