Established in Nakanoshima, the birthplace of The University of Osaka in 2004. Based on the concept of forming a global communication base for co-creation, art, industry-academia co-creation, where the "four knowledge" of culture, art, science, and technology intersect, we aim to be a facility that co-creation with you.
Keizo Saji Memorial Hall
This is an open space hall with three-sided glass.
A wide range of events can be held while overlooking the vibrant cityscape around Nakanoshima during lunchtime and the fantastic night view at night. It is equipped with state-of-the-art systems such as high-performance projectors and large screen screens, cameras and audio equipment for web conferencing, and supports hybrid events both face-to-face and online.

"Tekijuku no Tsudoi (Gathering at Tekijuku)" by Yasumasa Morimura
With the theme of Tekijyuku, the origin of the university, and its founder, Koan Ogata, the Tekijuku no Tsudoi (Gathering at Tekijuku) created by artist Yasumasa Morimura is shown on the permanent exhibition wall from the first floor to the second floor. Anyone can view it freely.

The University of Osaka Nakanoshima Art Center
At Art Square on the 3rd and 4th floors, the Nakanoshima Art Center operates as a cultural and artistic base of our university. In addition, as a practice of educational research, we hold exhibitions of art works for citizens, theater performances, and music performances (image is a studio on the 3rd floor).

gallery space
In the exhibition room on the 4th floor, in addition to paintings and photographs, music scores, old books, festival tools, dolls, etc. are also displayed, and exhibitions of various genres related to art are held irregularly. The opening hours are, in principle, from 10:30 to 17:00 (closed Monday and public holidays), and anyone can view it freely.
