Completed in 1918 with a donation from one Osaka citizen Einosuke Iwamoto. The exterior of Neo-Renaissance style is a landmark of Nakanoshima that conveys Taisho Roman to the present day. It has supported citizens' cultural activities for about 100 years, and is still used as a rental building. Designated as an important cultural property of the country since 2002.
