An alternative and community space operated by Keihan Holdings Co., Ltd. was established with the opening of the Nakanoshima Line in October 2008. We are developing a variety of sponsorship projects with the aim of becoming a "place of creation and exchange of culture, art, and knowledge" while considering the meaning of public places.
Alternative/community space
With the aim of creating and interacting with culture, art, and knowledge in a public place called a station, we are conducting projects that employ a variety of artists and creators, such as contemporary art, music, and dance. In the past, there have been unique projects such as the Railway Art Festival and the Search Project.

Introduction of attractions along the Keihan Line
We regularly hold exhibitions and events that introduce the history and culture of the Keihan Railway, which connects Osaka, Kyoto, and Otsu, in cooperation with facilities and experts along the railway line.

Cooperation with Nakanoshima Park and other local communities
We hold a variety of events in cooperation with sales events and workshops such as marche and fairs on the ground of Nakanoshima Park and the government.

As a hub for connecting regions
The pamphlet rack attached to the venue in Art Area B1 attracts flyers for exhibitions and events from all over the country, including the Nakanoshima area. In addition, as the secretariat of Creative Island Nakanoshima, it also serves as a hub by connecting facilities such as museums and science museums in Nakanoshima and developing various programs.
