While Nakanoshima is a “town” where attractive content is concentrated, it is also a less-known area in Osaka than the so-called “Kita” and “Minami”. This year, when Creative Island Nakanoshima will begin its full-scale launch, a three-part symposium on the theme of Mirai, Manabi and Living will be held at Nakanoshima Museum of Art, Osaka, shortly after its opening. We will unravel the present of Nakanoshima from every point of view and portray the future with urban creativity and sustainable network models. In anticipation of the Expo 2025 Osaka and Kansai in Osaka, we will try to create a charter-based vision of this project through dialogue based on clues to the future.
